Moments of Memory: Paint with the Painters

Join us to celebrate the opening of the exhibition Moments of Memory: Minnesota Landscapes Painted from Life. Visitors will have the opportunity to paint their own outdoor scenes, and may leave their work behind for inclusion in the exhibit, or take it home. Artists from Minnesota Plein Air Collective will be on hand to help and demonstrate plein air painting tips and techniques. Consider dressing warmly so you can paint outside like outdoor painters do, or frame your landscape view from the warmth of the Bell’s Horizon Hall.
Painting materials will be provided, and coloring and other art activities will also be available.
About MPAC
MPAC is a collaboration of Art of the Lakes Association, Outdoor Painters of Minnesota, and Red Wing Arts, the nonprofit organizers of Minnesota’s three premier annual plein air painting competitions, in Battle Lake, Grand Marais, and Red Wing.
This is an in-person event at the Bell Museum and included in the cost of regular admission.
