Visit us at the Bell!

The Bell Museum is Minnesota’s natural history museum and astronomy classroom. Our exhibits and dioramas will guide you through the wonders of Minnesota’s natural environment. Visit the Touch & See Lab for hands-on learning opportunities and to meet some of our friendly creatures. Then, check out a show the planetarium to explore the edges of the universe. 

The Bell Museum strives to provide nature and science education for all Minnesotans and we will never turn away visitors based on their ability to pay. We have unique admission options, such as Explore Passes and Curiosity Membership, that offer free admission for qualifying individuals and families. 

Museums for All

Qualifying visitors can receive free museum gallery admission passes and discounted planetarium show tickets ($3 for adults, seniors, youth).

You must be at least 18 and enrolled in one or more of the following: TANF, MFIP, SNAP, General Assistance, Medical Assistance, MinnesotaCare, WIC, Supplemental Security Income, Social Security Disability Benefits, Food Stamps, Section 8, or Free/Reduced Price School Meals.

Curiosity Membership

We welcome qualifying families to become museum members! Curiosity Memberships are available for purchase at our front desk for $15 for the entire household, and offer a year of free gallery admission and $2 planetarium tickets.
