Statewide Bell Summer Camps

Bell Summer Camps are fun and enriching day-camp experiences that encourage children to explore their scientific passions and discover new interests. Children entering grades 1-6 will experience science and nature like never before with hands-on investigation, games, creative projects, guided outdoor exploration and much more!

Our camp pricing is a sliding scale fee which ensures camp is affordable for everyone. When you register for a camp, simply select “1” next to the price that suits your household income whether it is full price, a portion of the price, or no fee.  
 
Lunch and snacks are included each day at each camp.

    Food & Fun on the Farm Grades 1-2

    Come and spend time on the farm with us! We’ll examine various seeds and how they grow, do some composting, plant seeds and flowers, and even make some slime! No trip to our farm would be complete without visiting some animals and taking a tractor ride!

    Agri-Science Adventures Grades 3-5

    The North Central Research and Outreach Center (NCROC) conducts research on food and agricultural plants in Grand Rapids, MN. Meet some of the researchers and take a closer look at soil, plants, and the science behind where our food comes from. You’ll do some planting, and some eating, maybe even eating some plants you’ve never tried before! We’ll spend time outside learning about different plants and animals, playing games, and going on a wagon ride to tour the grounds.

    Eco Explorations of the North Woods Grades 3-5

    Get your hands and shoes dirty as we immerse ourselves in the ecosystems of the North Woods! Activities will include invertebrate investigations, plant pressing, bird watching, and other environmental explorations. Build your observation and science skills. We will be spending time outside using field tools and guides in order to track, observe, and identify plants and animals of the North Woods.
