Images of Home: Jim Brandenburg’s Minnesota

Exclusively on view at the Bell Museum

Published02/11/2018

We are thrilled to debut Images of Home by renowned nature photographer and filmmaker Jim Brandenburg. The film is a collection spanning more than 50 years of Brandenburg’s most rare and exceptional moments filming Minnesota’s rich natural history. This new documentary was prepared exclusively for the museum and finds its home in our permanent galleries, inside the Glacial Theater nestled within the Pleistocene Minnesota diorama. Also on display throughout the permanent galleries are dozens of Mr. Brandenburg’s photographs.

“This is the most enjoyable and rewarding project of my career. I am extremely proud to be part of the new Bell Museum—which is a sacred place—and to honor Minnesota, my home.” Jim Brandenburg
