Bell Summer Camps are fun and enriching day-camp experiences that encourage children to explore their scientific passions and discover new interests. Children entering grades K-8 will experience science and nature like never before with hands-on investigation, visiting museum exhibits, games, creative projects, guided outdoor exploration and much more!

Pricing
Become a member! Your household can become Bell Museum members and receive discounted camp pricing—one of the many benefits of membership. The museum is also proud to offer $15 Curiosity Memberships for qualifying families. On top of camp savings, all Bell Museum members receive unlimited free admission to the galleries and special exhibits, exclusive discounts, members-only events and activities, and more! Bell Camps strive to be an environment that is welcoming, inclusive, and inspires curiosity. We greatly appreciate any information, suggestions or tips you would like to share regarding your camper. Filling out the registration form with as much detail as possible will give us the opportunity to prepare accommodations and give your camper the best experience possible. You are also welcome to email our summer camp team at bellcamps@umn.edu.
Medication Form: If your camper will bring any medication to camp (e.g. inhaler, epi-pen, ibuprofen) please complete our medication information form and email it to bellcamps@umn.edu.
Grade Levels: Your camper should be assigned to the grade level they will enter in the fall (2025-2026). We appreciate your interest in our various camp options. Each in-person camp session is designed for specific grade levels. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate any substitutions.

Refunds and cancellations: If you wish to withdraw from a camp after registering, you must do so at least two weeks prior to the first day of camp in order to receive a partial refund of the camp fee. $40 of the camp fee is considered a registration deposit and will not be refunded. No refunds will be given if a cancellation is made within the two weeks before the first day of camp.
If for any reason the Bell Museum cancels your camp, you will receive a full refund of the camp fee, including the registration deposit, or the opportunity to transfer to another camp if space is available. If your child or someone in your household has tested positive for COVID-19 or isn’t feeling well immediately prior to your camp date, please email bellcamps@umn.edu for questions about options.

Scholarships
The scholarship application for summer 2026 is now closed.
Scholarships are available for Bell Museum summer campers based on financial need. Applications open Monday, January 12 at 10am and close Wednesday, January 21 at 3pm. Scholarship recipients will be selected via lottery system and will be notified between January 22–23.
