Adventures for the budding scientist in your life

Winter Camp 2025 registration now open!

Bell Winter Camps are fun and enriching two-day camp experiences that encourage children to explore their scientific passions and discover new interests. Children in grades 1-2 and grades 3-5 will experience science and nature like never before with hands-on investigation, visiting museum exhibits, games, creative projects, guided outdoor exploration and much more!

Camp Hours: 9 am to 4 pm
Drop off: 8:30–9 am & Pick up: 4–4:30 pm

STEM Safari: Engineering and Astronomy

Monday, December 22–Tuesday, December 23, 2025

Jump into engineering and astronomy with two days of STEM! Day one, we will learn steps to the design cycle and apply them to a paper cup tower and tin foil barge. Next, we will make our own moon rocks and model the solar system as we dive into all things space!

STEM Safari: Geology, Biology, and Chemistry

Monday, December 29–Wednesday, December 31, 2025

A heart-shaped rock among many other rocks

Leap into an exploration of the food web, the rock cycle, and chemical reactions! We will learn about animal traits and how those traits create groups of mammals, birds, invertebrates, fish, reptiles and amphibians. We will move into chemistry with invisible inks and color-changing slime, then on to geology to learn about different rocks of Minnesota.

Snow Much Fun: Weather, Space, and Engineering

Monday, December 22–Tuesday, December 23, 2025

Bundle up for another winter extravaganza! In this camp, we will focus on observing and identifying clouds, and learn why seasons happen. On day two, we will do some chilly engineering with snow forts and design a snowball launcher!

Snow Much Fun: Biology, Adaptations, and Art

Monday, December 29–Wednesday, December 31, 2025

Bundle up for this winter extravaganza! In this camp, we will see how our environment adapts once the temperature dips below freezing and learn how to identify different animals in winter by observing their tracks. Join us for a deeper appreciation of Minnesota’s winter!

Filling out the registration form with as much detail as possible will give us the opportunity to prepare any special accommodations and give your camper the best experience possible.
