STEAMquest Activity Packs
Host a fun family science event at your school using the Bell Museum STEAMquest Activity Packs!
What’s a STEAMquest?
STEAMquests are events hosted at your school where students and families can learn about science, technology, engineering, and math through engaging, hands-on activities. Each activity pack provides all the necessary materials to facilitate a STEAMquest event. Plus, all activities are designed with non-science educators in mind, so anyone can feel confident leading them!
Each Activity Pack contains all the materials for 10 STEAM activities and includes access to supportive resources (activity guides, instruction sheets, additional resources, etc).
As a participating educator, you can always reach out to the STEM Nights Coordinator at stemnights@umn.edu to discuss activity details, tips and tricks for your event, and ask any questions you may have.
How does the program work?
- Decide which of our two themes you would like included in your activity pack (see the themes for 2026-27 below).
- Decide if you would like an All Inclusive Pack or an Only Essentials Pack (see differences below).
- Decide if you would like supplies for 100 or 200 participants based on your expected event attendance.
- Complete our STEAMquest interest form to indicate interest in receiving a STEAMquest Activity Pack. A scholarship application is included in the interest form.
- Once you have completed the form, the STEAMquest program coordinator will reach out to you to coordinate a meeting time to answer questions and to review activities and tips and tricks for a successful event.
- STEAMquest activity packs may be picked up, delivered, or shipped to you depending on your location. All purchasing and payment must be completed prior to receiving a STEAMquest activity pack.
