Dr. Mike Dockry teaches a group of foresters about white pine management on the Menominee Reservation in Wisconsin.
Dr. Kent Boyd is Doctor of Nursing Practice, Registered Nurse, and Public Health Nurse. He works as Climate Resilience and Public Health Educator with the University of Minnesota Climate Adaptation Partnership.

Melody Arteaga worked with COPAL (Comunidades Organizando el Poder y la Acción Latina). She helps people connect what they see in their own lives to the environment.
Syd Bauer was a sustainability intern at the University of Minnesota Morris. She won a 2024 Minnesota Climate Adaptation Award, and is enjoying being a Morris community member and resident.
Kurt Kimber farms on 240 acres south of the Twin Cities. He grew up on an adjacent farm and is involved with the University of Minnesota’s Forever Green Initiative.
Opening day celebration
Join us April 26, anytime between 10:00 am–2:00 pm to celebrate the re-designed gallery. During the opening celebration, we’ll be joined by people featured in the exhibition and partners from the University of Minnesota, including the Forever Green Initiative, Minnesota Climate Adaptation Partnership, and Office of Sustainability. Meet community organizations COPAL and Monarch Joint Venture, learn about the state’s Climate Action Framework with the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, and more! Be sure to stop by the Climate Chaser, a restored camper outfitted with recording equipment, to tell your own climate story with Backyard Phenology.
