Nature Rx: Color Therapy
Thursday | March 14, 2019 | 5:45 pm–8:00 pm
$30 – $35Event Navigation
Improve your wellbeing in 2019 with an introduction to Shinrin-yoku, a Japanese mindfulness practice that invites nature to be your healer. Translated as ‘Forest Bathing’ or ‘Forest Medicine,’ Shinrin-yoku uses awareness exercises to awaken your senses, delight your spirit, calm your mind, and foster a deeper connection with nature — all in the quiet indoor comfort of the Bell Museum diorama galleries.
Spring is around the corner, and we all could use a little more color in our field of view. In addition to guided Shinrin-yoku, guests will experience a variety of color, light, and good vibrations in the Whitney and Elizabeth MacMillan Planetarium. Light refreshments included (pun intended).
