SUMMARY:Spirits Dancing Book Launch
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the release of Spirits Dancing: The Night Sky\, Indigenous Knowledge\, and Living Connections to the Cosmos. This new book from MNHS Press is an exploration of human connection to the aurora\, the Milky Way\, and the wonder of the constellations above us. It features stunning photographs by master photographer Travis Novitsky and text by astrophysicist and artist Annette S. Lee. \nTravis Novitsky will join us at the Bell Museum to give a talk about the book Spirits Dancing\, answer questions\, and sign copies. Participants may join in person at the Bell\, or via Zoom. A recording of the talk will be available on the Bell’s YouTube page after the talk (no registration necessary). \nSchedule:\n – 5:30 pm: Doors open\n – 6:00 pm: Talk begins\n – 7:00 pm: Q&A and book signing \nSpirits Dancing will be available for purchase on site before and after the talk. \n  \nTo participate\, register on Eventbrite\, and indicate whether you will be joining in person or by Zoom. \nRegister Here \n \n \nAbout the authors \nTravis Novitsky is a nature and wildlife photographer living in Grand Portage\, Minnesota. \n  \n  \nAnnette S.
