Member Master Class (Bell Member Exclusive): Anna Cerelia Battistini

We are kicking off the new year by creating colorful ornament hangings with Minnesota Artist Anna Cerelia Battistini. Members will learn how to craft ornaments to hang in their windows and an internally lit sculptural luminary to spread some glowing light this winter. Additionally, attendees will learn more about Anna’s inspiration for her work, which includes large-scale, internally lit paper sculpture. You will learn about her process for creating artworks, while getting hands-on experience creating your own pieces in this unusual medium. Her work has been seen across the state, and at the Bell, in a Fall 2019 residency that explored endangered species in Minnesota.

Register by January 7 and you will be able to pick up a kit with all required supplies to follow along and create your own lantern ornament at home! Members who register after January 7 are welcome to participate, and links to purchase items will be shared out after the class.
