Intro to Nature Journaling

Join the Bell Museum for a three-part, virtual exploration of the art of nature journaling right where you are—from the most urban to the most rural of settings. Whether you’re alone or with a group, you can take advantage of this opportunity to pause, connect with nature, build a sense of place, and embark on a journey of discovery.
Nature journaling is the regular recording of observations, perceptions, and feelings about the natural world. This can be done through writing, drawing or painting, photography, sound recordings, and more—all based on your interests, background, and skills.
This workshop requires minimal tools. All you need to get started is some paper and a pen or pencil—or purchase a starter kit from the Bell Curiosity Shop!
