Looking to exercise your brain during winter break? Join us for some science-related family fun this weekend! Enjoy activities in our education wing, a special display in Collections Cove, and a sun-centered planetarium show to warm you up.
Follow the trail to fun as you explore animal tracks in the Nucleus, solve the mystery of the foot prints, and leave your own mark. Try some scientific illustration in Collections Cove, visit the classrooms to go “ice fishing,” craft a snowy owl friend, and create constellation art, too.

Discover the secrets of our star in this planetarium show and experience never-before-seen images of the Sun’s violent surface in immersive full-dome format.
Enjoy crafting your own snowy owl, and get in the spirit of animal track-making by wearing some cute animal ears!
