Bell Expeditions

Visit with Bell Museum researchers and students for an on-site expedition-style field experience. Set up outside of the museum, a team of students and scientists will work together to demonstrate how scientific collections are created. Visitors will watch the team work together to process plants, dissect animals, take various data, and preserve different types of samples, for the Bell’s natural history collections.
Come see bird, mammal, fish, insect and plant specimens being processed. Many of the specimens have been received from the Bell’s Salvage Wildlife program, an LCCMR funded program.
This is an in-person event at the Bell Museum.
The Bell Museum is fully committed to creating an inclusive environment. We are proud to offer multiple services or resources detailed at the link below. For additional information or to request an accommodation, please contact the accessibility office at 612-625-4511 or bellaccess@umn.edu.
