Be a Pest Detective, with Ramsey County Master Gardeners

Calling all gardeners! Join us virtually to learn how you can use your sleuthing skills to determine what is causing trouble in your garden. Then take action with applied Integrated Pest Management, a series of garden care options aimed at keeping plants healthy and safe by starting with the smallest amount of environmental impact (like changing how you water) and leading to more serious—but very targeted—interventions.

About the speakers

Ramsey County Master Gardener volunteers are life-long learners with a love of gardening, a passion for the environment, and a desire to be an accessible community resource for research-based horticulture knowledge.

This event is presented in conjunction with Bugs: Outside the Box on view at the Bell through September 12. This exhibition features a selection of greatly enlarged insect sculptures, each showcasing the beauty hidden within the (mini)beasts of the natural world. Intricate details not visible to the naked eye are showcased alongside educational topics, including an exciting look at museum collections and taxonomy, and an exploration of the power of magnification.
