Explore. Create. Eat. Discuss.
The Bell Museum, CBS Conservatory, and The Good Acre are joining forces to tell a fascinating food and climate story in three informative and engaging chapters.
- Start at the Bell Museum with an exclusive guided tour of the Weather to Climate exhibit, visiting from the Peggy Notabarte Nature Museum in Chicago through April 28, 2019.
- Take a quick ride to the UMN College of Biological Sciences Conservatory, home to the most diverse collection of plants in the upper Midwest, to encounter amazing food plants from five climates around the globe.
- Enjoy a cooking demonstration and tasting at The Good Acre with guest chef instructor Beth Jones of Campus Club and Rebecca Jackson from Shared Ground, a local, immigrant owned farmers’ cooperative. We’ll prepare and share a meal exploring local flavors and discuss the future of sustainable, climate-smart farming in Minnesota.
