Campuses:
Approximately 2,700 plant species are known from the state of Minnesota. Almost 20% are introductions from outside the Midwest that have become naturalized or nearly so. Approximately 6% are considered rare and another 6% are of special concern. Minnesota endemics include Erythronium propullans (Minnesota dwarf trout-lily), Botrychium gallicomontanum (Frenchman's bluff moonwort), and Erigeron pulchellus var. tolsteadii (Tolstead's robin's-plantain).
