Chemistry Makes it Happen!

Sunday, March 24, 12:30 p.m. - 2 p.m.

Cost: FREE (Sunday is free admission day at the Bell!), registration requested

Chemistry is everywhere! From our eyes to our iPods, chemistry makes it all work. This special event hosted at the Bell Museum is being led by students and faculty from the University of Minnesota Department of Chemistry. This a unique opportunity for inquisitive kids ages 5-12 to learn and explore with science professionals!

This special event will include:

• exciting chemistry experiments!
• awe-inspiring demonstrations by professionals!
• tons of fun opportunities for inquiry learning!

Pre-registration is requested as it will assist with the planning of supplies and staffing. Please call (612) 626-9660 or email belladm@umn.edu to reserve a spot. Be sure to include the ages of the children you are registering as well as your contact information.

Museum Hours:
Mon.-Fri. 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
First Thursday of the month, open until 9 p.m.
Sat. 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Sun. noon-5 p.m.

Admission:
Members & U-Students / faculty / staff: free
Adults: $6
Youths age 3-17, non U-students, & seniors: $4
Children under 3: free
Free admission for all visitors on Sundays

Location: The Bell Museum is located at the corner of University Ave. & 17th Ave. SE in Minneapolis, on the University of Minnesota campus. View a map Also, our research collections and academic curators are housed in various locations on the University's campus in St. Paul.
